I am now in montana. montana is much more picturesque than wyoming. i had a short drive today through what i thought would be mountains but it is just paddocks with the occaisional hill. i drove next and around the mountains but not through them. it is colder here. i think that it is quite elevated here which is why it is so cold. i am staying in another hotel tonight. none of the lights work in the room but that is the same as all the hotels. only one lamp works.
I hope that mark is enjoying my nice comfy bed!!
I sent a postcard from NY - have you recieved it yet?

It must have been a relief to only have a short drive today as you must be getting exhausted. Is great hearing about all the cities you have seen.
We had a lovely day today, dropped into your Mum & Dad & had a BBQ. Weather here is about 28 & tomorrow 31. That is weird about the lights in the hotel rooms. Is this to save power? Looking forward to some more photos.

Hi Sarah,
Good to hear from you yesterday. Nothing much has been happening here. Claire came over for dinner last night as Matt had band practice. She started back at work yesterday.
Mark is not well - he didn't go to uni yesterday he just stayed at home in bed. It's only a cold but it seems to have hit him quite badly.
I have an PD day today so I don't need to leave home till 8.45 and I was at a loss as to what to do with my extra hour. So I went out and watered the garden!
We are still painting in Mark's room and he is complaining that the house smells like a fume cupboard - which it does! Still, it will be finished soon now.
The outside blinds are almost finished and they are going to be installed next week - finally after all the hot weather finishes!
